This is a Hidden gem. Really picturesque with amazing atmosphere. The views are stunning. The food was spectacular. Amazing flavors, textures and plating. The cocktails/mocktails and wine selection were excellent. The server was friendly and prompt. We showed up right at 5 Pm and were told that they don’t open till 5:15. Not sure if that is an everyday thing or just because it was Sunday? Google maps says 5pm so maybe change that. Highly recommend and will return
The ambiance at the restaurant is stunning. Nestled between the trees and the water with views of both bridges, this restaurant provides the perfect ambiance. We arrived at brunch. Though not pictured, the food was delicious. We got the mezze, shakshuka, salads. The pita bread was absolutely excellent and perhaps the best bread I’ve ever tasted. The drinks were perfectly balanced and tasty as well. Would recommend.
So not only are we customers but we chose Celestine to celebrate one of the most special days of our lives- our wedding! We couldn’t think of a more perfect venue- in our home city- Brooklyn, on the water with beautiful views, floor to ceiling windows, with an outdoor patio, delicious food and great cocktails, as well a standout team. From the moment we contacted Nisrine, we were met with such a calming presence. She is solution oriented, even-keeled, and personable- all important characteristics we wanted in someone who we would have a ton of interaction with planning the day. We appreciated their ability to accommodate allergies and dietary preferences, keep our wedding running smoothly and timely as well. Before booking, we took a tour of the space as she painted a picture of the layout- we had close to the maximum amount of people allowed (80-ish). We picked a package that worked best and added some customization along the way. She has a list of vendors who worked within the space before (and which we utilized!) but I know we had options to bring in other vendors. Our tasting was INCREDIBLE and the rehearsal we held was a success. The wedding day went with as minimal hiccups as possible thanks to her amazing teammate- Krystle. Celestine holds a special place in my heart. If you’re considering having an awesome NYC wedding then look no further!
