Went here for dinner with two friends as first-time Brooklyn tourists. We agreed this is one of the best vegan restaurants we’ve been to! The food was super flavourful and felt very fresh (not greasy at all!), with big portions. The lovely decor, kind staff, and cute back patio made the experience even better. Definitely will come back here whenever I’m in the city.
Yummy homecooking with great hospitality run by a family! The food was so good I came back twice in a row over two weekends from Manhattan. Love the vegan oxtail which has butter beans and amazing spice. Their rice can be made with lots of other grains. My favorite is with coconut which comes with lots of red beans. The best of all is they are refined sugar free. They don’t use any processed sugar in the cooking. Amazing!
I love it here! This place has authentic vegan dishes. It’s right in my neighborhood and I had no idea this was here all this time. The decor has a relaxed communal feel to it. The servers are attentive and make you feel like they are only here for you. The food came out in a decent time frame. It was presented beautifully, tasted fresh & you can taste the quality of the ingredients within.
