I’m alright not returning here. We went to eat here for my birthday celebration. We waited almost an hour to be seated because a party without a reservation was seated minutes before we walked in 1:10pm (we walked in at 1:12pm for our 1:15pm reservation). They had to clean the back porch area to seat us. The grits were not grits they were polenta (runny and not the same consistency). The drinks were alright. The waffles are flavorless but the wings were pretty good. The atmosphere looks like they wanted to appeal to the social media audience but also looks very cheesy. Feel like I would’ve rather eaten Chick-fil-A or a BEC somewhere lol Sade was the only worker there when we arrived and she was super personable and trying her best!
After reading the reviews I had to go see for myself…the guava mimosa, could drink that all day so delicious. The bacon, eggs & hash brown were cooked to perfection and those waffles…crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just the way I like it!!! The restroom was clean and the perfect place for selfies. AND the 2Chix who own the establishment were very welcoming and hospitable. Definitely will be coming back!!
The two women who worked there were very nice. The chicken waffles is very big and filling. The fish sandwich was good but smaller.
